Contrast Between Muhammed & Jesus Christ

– By George Zeller & Jim Searcy  (2012)
Here are the comparisons :
Muhammad’s method was COERCITION (The Koran, Al-Fath 16 ); Christ’s call was a voluntary CONVERSION (Acts 3:19) . Muhammad’s followers kill for their faith; followers of Christ are slain for their faith (Acts 12: 2; 2 Timothy 4: 7) . Mohammed was a warrior prophet ; Christ is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9: 6-7).

Muhammad encourages persecution and murder against “infidels” (the Koran, Al-Baqarah 190); Christ forgives and transforms the heads of persecutors (1 Timothy 1: 13-15). Mohammed is the destroyer of life ; Christ is the giver of life (John 10: 27-28).

Muhammad and his warrior followers kill thousands ; Christ does not kill, but saves many (compare John 12:48). Mahomet uses FORCE ; Christ preaches FAITH (John 6:29, 35). Muhammad was a WARRIOR ; Christ is a LIBERATOR (Colossians 1:13; 1 Thessalonians 1:10).
Muhammad conquered his enemies with the sword; Christ conquered his enemies with another kind of sword, the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God (Hebrews 4:12; Acts 2:37).
Mohammed said to the masses: “Convert or die!” “; Christ said, “Believe and live! (John 6:47; 11: 25-26) . Muhammad was quick to shed blood (Rom. 3: 15-17); Christ shed his own blood for the salvation of many (Ephesians 1: 7).
Mohammed preaches “the death of the infidels!” “; Christ prayed, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing” (Luke 23:34).
Muhammad declares holy war (Jihad or Daesh) against the infidels; Christ won a holy victory at the cross of Calvary (Colossians 2: 14-15) and His disciples participate in that victory (John 16:33).
Mahomet constrains the peoples by conquest; Christ compels the peoples with love (2 Corinthians 5:14).
Modern terrorists take their inspiration from Muhammad and commit their atrocities in the name of his god Allah; Christians draw their inspiration from the one who says, “Blessed are those who bring peace, for they will be called children of God!” (Matthew 5: 9).
Many modern-day followers of Muhammad respond to terrorist attacks by feasting in the streets ; modern-day followers of Christ feel deeply saddened by the atrocities perpetrated by those who are “Christians” in name only (during the time of the Crusades, and the Spanish Inquisition, etc.).
Many Muslims are peaceful, because they do not follow the teachings of their founder to the letter, those among Muslims who follow his teachings to the letter, call them “the disbelievers”. In return, many Christians are peaceful, because they follow the teachings of their Founder (Romans 12: 17-21).
Muhammad calls on his servants to fight; Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world; if My kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight… but now My kingdom is not from here below ”(John 18:36).
Mahomet orders the death of the Jews [see A. Guillaume, La vie de Mahomet, Oxford University Press (1975), p. 369]; Christ commanded in the gospel to preach “to the Jews first” (Romans 1:16).
The Koran says: “Fight for the cause of Allah” (The Koran, An-Nisa 84); the Bible says, “For the weapons with which we fight are not carnal” (Ephesians 6:12; 2 Corinthians 10: 4).
The Koran says: “Fight and destroy the infidels wherever they are” (The Koran, Al-Baqarah 190); Christ said, “Preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15).
The Koran says: “I will inspire terror in the hearts of unbelievers” (Qu’ran 8:12); God inspires His terror (awe of reverence) in the hearts of believers (Isaiah 8:13).
The Koran (Qu’ran) is a terrorist manual which incites violence, conflicts, terror, massacres and genocides against those who do not accept Islam; the Bible is a missionary manual for spreading a gospel of peace to the whole world (Romans 10:15).
Muhammad’s Mission was to conquer the world for Allah, by violence; Christ’s mission is to win hearts to take away sin and the penalty it incurs, through the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 3:18).
M ahomet says consider Christ as a great prophet (while still denying its importance, his gospel, his teachings and his divinity). (The Koran, Al-Maidah 72-73, the Koran, Al-Maidah 75, the Koran, An-Nisa 171); Christ described the criteria that made Muhammad a false prophet (John 10:10; Matthew 24:11).
Muhammad said that there is only one God, Allah; Christ himself declared that he was God (John 10: 30-31; John 8: 58-59; John 5:18; John 14: 9). The Tomb of Muhammad is OCCUPIED! Christ’s grave is EMPTY!
The Contrast between Allah and the Lord
Allah was created by Muhammad in the 7th century AD;  The Eternal CREATED the Heavens and the Earth BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF TIMES.
Allah is the god of Islamic people;  The Eternal is the One True God and the owner of the Heavens and the Earth.
Allah is the god of the Koran;  The Lord is the God of the Bible .
Allah is the god of HATE;  The Eternal is the God of LOVE.
Allah is the god of VengeanceThe Lord is the God of Forgiveness.
Allah needs his people to fight for him;  The Lord fights for His people.
A llah can lie;  The Lord cannot lie.
Allah is CAPRICIOUS and cannot be knownThe Lord is WORTHY OF FAITH, for he does NOT change, he honors His word written in his name, and he desires to make himself known to us as our Father.
Allah has no Savior; The Eternal gives FREE Salvation through the blood of Yeshua His Only Son, Jesus Christ.
Allah CAN (supposedly) give salvation through our WORKS. Some of these works consist of fighting and dying for Islam, killing innocent people, promising those who thus make paradise and brides in great numbers in heaven (the Koran, An-Nisa 56-57, the Koran, Al Iram 15);  The Lord offers Salvation as a FREE gift of His Grace through the work of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, in himself and in us. The Lord taught us that the saved will not take a wife or a husband in heaven, but they will be like Angels of God in heaven (Matthew 22: 29-30).
Allah has no mediator (Muhammad is not mediator, or messenger, or prophet of Allah);  The Lord gave Yeshua, Jesus, as the only Mediator between God and men (1 Timothy 2: 5).
Allah does not speak to his people;  The Lord communicates with his people through the Holy Spirit.
Allah gives NO certainty of eternal life;  The Eternal gives us ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY of Eternal Life (John 10:28).
Allah is the moon god;  The Lord is the Creator of the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1: 1, John 1: 1-3).
Allah is the god of war;  The Lord is the God of Peace.
Allah is the god of slavery;  The Eternal is the God of Freedom.
Allah is the god of a religion;  The Eternal is a Relational God.
Allah commands the murder of the infidels;  The Lord forbids murder (Exodus 20:13).
Allah allows to have up to 4 wives, and tolerates infidelity (especially of men);  The Lord Himself instituted monogamous marriage as the foundation of marriage and He prohibited adultery (Genesis 2:24, Exodus 20:14).
Allah calls his disciples to walk in the flesh;  The Lord calls his disciples to walk in the Spirit and against the flesh (Galatians 5:16).
Allah is concerned with the outward appearance; The Lord looks to the heart.
Allah says the 6th day is holy;  The Lord says that the 7th day is holy (Genesis 20: 8-11).
Allah ALIAS the Lunar God, by the description of his character, is Lucifer, Satan, the devil;  The Eternal ALIAS the God of Abraham, the God of Israel, and the Almighty God, is the Heavenly God and Father.
There is Black and White, Light and Dark, Good and Bad, True and False, BIG DIFFERENCE between the religion of Islam and TRUE Christians.
The True God of Abraham, and True Christians, and True Jews, work through LOVE, life, and Truth.
Allah, the Lunar God, works through hatred, murder and lies.
Brethren, wake up. The antichrist people hide these deadly Islamic conflicts made by their terrorists from the moon god (Satan) by disguising them as ethnic conflicts. The Christian people do not carry guns or swords to kill Muslims. The Christian people carry the love and the truth of the Word of God in order to free them from the slavery of Islam. Ethnic warfare is a cover for Islamic murderers, and they are cowardly in perpetrating this massive slaughter that they are doing all over the earth. They murder Christians, women, men and children, all in the name of their false moon god Allah whom Muhammad created from a large black stone, an icon he erected in Mecca. This is an idolatrous cult dedicated to Satan. The true God of Abraham will destroy him SOON.
And to Muslims :
Choose on this day who you want to serve. To serve the great black rock by making your pilgrimages to Mecca, by calling the TRUE DISCIPLES OF JESUS Idolaters? DON’T YOU SEE HOW INSANE THIS IS ??? For I and my house will serve us the Lord, the Almighty God of Abraham, and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.
How could you, O Muslims, conceive of such a foolish thing as Jihad? If Allah is God, as he claims, why do you need to fight for your God? Isn’t he powerful enough to defend himself. My God, the God of Abraham, fight for me.
What sort of god do you have that you have to fight for him? Not a god with power, not an Almighty God, not the God of Abraham!
Allah is but a black rock, an idol that the false Prophet Muhammad set up in Mecca.
Shalom & Simcah

Some references on the Koran:
The Qur’an, Al-Fath 16: “Say to those of the Bedouins who were left behind: ‘You will soon be called against people of formidable strength. You will fight them unless they embrace Islam. If you obey, Allah will give you a fine reward, and if you turn away as you turned away before, He will chastise you with a painful retribution. “
The Koran, An-Nisa 84: “So fight in the path of Allah, you are only responsible for yourself, and incite believers to fight. Allah will certainly stop the violence of the disbelievers. Allah is more formidable in force and more severe in punishment. “
The Koran, Al-Baqarah 190: “And kill them, wherever you meet them; and drive them out from where they chased you: association is more serious than murder. But don’t fight them near the Holy Mosque until they fight you there. If they fight you there, kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers. “
The Koran, Al-Baqarah 193: “And fight them until there is no more association and religion is entirely for Allah alone. If they cease, let there be no hostility except against the oppressors. “
The Koran, An-Nisa 56-57: “Certainly those who do not believe in Our Verses, (the Koran) We will soon burn them in the Fire. Whenever their skins are consumed, We will give them other skins in exchange so that they may taste the punishment. Allah is indeed Mighty and Wise! And as for those who have believed and done good works, soon We will bring them into the Gardens under which streams flow. They will stay there forever. There will be purified wives there for them. And We will bring them in under a thick shade. “
The Quran, Al Iram 15: “Say: ‘Can I teach you anything better than all this? For the pious there are gardens with their Lord under which streams flow, to dwell therein eternally, and also purified wives, and the pleasure of Allah. ‘And Allah is Seer over [His] servants. “
The Koran, An-Nisa 95-96: “Are not equal those of the believers who remain at home – except those who have some infirmity – and those who strive body and goods in the path of Allah. Allah gives those who fight body and property a rank of excellence over those who stay at home. And to each one Allah has promised the best reward; and Allah put the combatants above the non-combatants by granting them immense retribution; grades of superiority from Him as well as forgiveness and mercy. Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. “
( Yes, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful, for those who kill for their cause and for those who embrace Islam. )
The Koran, An-Nisa 66-67: “If We had commanded them this: ‘Kill yourselves’, or ‘Come out of your dwellings’, they would not have done it, except a few of them. them. If they had done what they were urged to do, it would certainly have been better for them, and (their faith) would have been stronger. Then We would certainly have given them a great reward from Us. “
Hatred of the Jewish people and denial of the crucifixion of Jesus :
The Koran, An-Nisa 155-157: “We have cursed them (the Jews) because of their breaking of the covenant, their disbelief in the revelations of Allah, their unjustified murder of the prophets, and their word: ‘Our hearts are (wrapped) and waterproof ›. In reality, it was Allah who sealed their hearts because of their disbelief, for they believed very little. And because of their disbelief and the enormous calumny they utter against Mary. And because of their word: ‘We have truly killed the Christ, Jesus, the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah’… Now they neither killed nor crucified him; but it was only a pretense! And those who have discussed his subject are really in doubt: they have no certain knowledge of it, they are just guessing and they certainly did not kill him. “
The Koran, An-Nisa 160-161: “It is because of the iniquities of the Jews that We have made illicit for them the good food which was lawful to them, and also because of their obstructing the path of Allah, (to themselves and) to many people, and because of what they take usurious interests – which were however forbidden to them – and because they illegally eat people’s goods. For those of them who are disbelievers We have prepared a painful retribution. “
Why then do Muslims hate Jews so much? This is because, from an early age, the Koran teaches them to hate them and to treat the Jews as apes and pigs :

The Koran, Al-Maidah 60: “Say: ‘May I inform you of what is worst, in terms of recompense with Allah? The one whom Allah cursed (the Jew), the one who incurred His wrath, and those whom He made apes, pigs (the Jews), and likewise, the one who worshiped the Tagut, these have the worst of places and are the most astray from the right path ‘. “

The Koran, Al-Maidah 64: “… We have cast among them (the Jews) enmity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection…”
The religion of Allah is anti-Christian and anti-Christ, and they are against the divinity of Jesus and against the Trinity :
The Koran, Al-Maidah 17-18: “Certainly those who say: ‘Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary!’ Are disbelievers! ‘- Say:’ Who then has anything from Allah (to prevent Him) , if he wanted to destroy the Messiah, son of Mary, as well as his mother and all those who are on earth? … To Allah alone belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth and everything in between. He creates what He wants. And Allah is Omnipotent. The Jews and Christians have said: ‘We are the sons of Allah and His favorites.’ Say: ‘Why then does He punish you for your sins? … ”
In the Bible it is written :
Hebrews 12.6: “For the Lord chastises him whom he loves, and he smites with the rod all whom he recognizes for his sons. “
The Koran, Al-Maidah 72-73: “They are, of course, disbelievers those who say: ‘Verily, Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary.’ While the Messiah said: ‘O children of’ Israel, worship Allah my Lord and your Lord. Whoever associates other gods with Allah, Allah forbids him Paradise; and his refuge will be Fire. And for the unjust, no helpers! They are certainly disbelievers, those who say: ‘Verily, Allah is the third of three.’ While there is no god but One Deity! And if they keep saying it, of course, a painful retribution will touch the disbelievers among them. “
The Koran, Al-Maidah 75: “The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a Messenger. Messengers have gone before him. And her mother was a real one. And both were consuming food. See how We explain the proofs to them and then see how they turn away. “
76 Say: ‘ Do you worship, instead of Allah, that which has no power to do you good or bad?’ Now it is Allah who is the Hearer and the Knower.
77 Say, “O People of the Book, do not exaggerate in your religion, opposing the truth.” Do not follow the passions of people who have gone astray before that, who have led many astray, and who have strayed from the right path. “
78 Those of the Children of Israel who disbelieved (the Jews) were cursed by the mouth of David and Jesus son of Mary, because they disobeyed and transgressed. “
( This last statement is false . Neither David nor our Lord Jesus ever cursed the Jews. For the Muslims who curse the Jews, it is written: “… Cursed be whoever curses you, and blessed is whoever blesses you! Speaking of Jacob’s offspring ”(Genesis 27:29, Numbers 24: 9).
The Koran, An-Nisa 171: “O People of the Book (Christians), do not exaggerate in your religion, and speak of Allah only the truth. The Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, is only a Messenger of Allah, His word which He sent to Mary, and a breath (of life) coming from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And don’t say ‘Three’. Stop! This will be better for you. Allah is only one God. He’s too glorious to have a child. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on the earth and Allah suffices as a protector. “
The Bible says :
1 John 2:18: “Little children, this is the last hour, and as you have heard that an antichrist is coming, there are now many antichrists: by this we know that it is the last hour. “
1 John 2: 22-23: “Who is a liar except he who denies that Jesus is the Christ?” This is the antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; whoever confesses the Son also has the Father. “
Islam denies Christ and his divinity. It is therefore an Anti-Christ religion.
Islam prevents any Muslim from believing in Jesus :
The Koran, Al-Baqarah 120: “Neither Jews nor Christians will ever be satisfied with you, until you follow their religion. – Say: Certainly, it is the direction of Allah which is the true direction. But if you follow their passions after you have received knowledge, you will have neither protector nor helper against Allah. “
Islam places the Quran above the Bible, and claims to have received Abraham’s promise over Jews and Christians :
The Koran, Al Iram 65-71: “O people of the Book, why are you arguing about Abraham, when the Torah and the Gospel did not come down until after him? Do you not then reason? You did have a fight about something you knew about. But why do you argue about things you don’t know about? Now Allah knows, while you do not know. Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian. He was completely in submission to Allah (Muslim). And he was not one of the Associates.Certainly the men most worthy of claiming Abraham are those who followed him, as well as this Prophet, and those who have faith. And Allah is the ally of believers. Some of the People of the Book would have liked to lead you astray. But they only mislead themselves; and they are not aware of it. O people of the Book, why do you not believe in the verses of Allah (the Qur’an), while you are witnesses? O People of the Book, why do you mix the false with the true and knowingly hide the truth? “
And the Koran, placed Ishmael in the promise of Abraham instead of Isaac, as the Bible teaches us :
The Koran, As-Saffat 100-109: “  Lord, give me the gift of one [offspring] of the virtuous. So we made him the good announcement of a long-suffering boy (Ismail). Then when he was old enough to accompany him, [Abraham] said: ‘O my son, I see myself in a dream immolating you. So see what you think. (Ishmael) said: ‘O my dear father, do as you are commanded: you will find me, if Allah pleases, among the enduring. Then when both had submitted (to Allah’s command) and he had thrown him on his forehead, behold We called him ‘Abraham! You have confirmed the vision. This is how We reward the beneficent. This was certainly the obvious test. And We ransomed him with a generous immolation. And We perpetuated his name in posterity: ‘Peace be upon Abraham.’ “
The religion of Allah encourages the murder and revenge of men :
The Koran, Muhammad 4-8: “When you meet those who disbelieve, strike their necks. Then, when you have dominated them, chain them securely. Then it’s either free liberation or ransom, until the war drops its burdens. This is so, because if Allah willed, He would avenge Himself against them, but it is to test you one by the other. And those who will be killed in the way of Allah, He will never make their actions in vain. He will guide them and improve their condition, and bring them into the Paradise He has made known to them. O you who believe! if you make the cause of Allah triumph, He will make you triumph and strengthen your steps. And when those who disbelieve, there will be calamity for them, and He will make their works in vain. “
While the Bible says:
Romans 12:19: “Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but allow anger to act; for it is written, Vengeance is mine, and retribution is mine, says the Lord. (See also Deuteronomy 32:35.)
Why will any peace process signed with Islam be doomed to failure ?
The Koran, An-Nisa 89: “They would like to see you disbelievers, as they disbelieved: then you would all be equal! Therefore do not take any allies among them until they migrate in the path of Allah. But if they turn their backs, then grab them, and kill them wherever you find them; and do not take among them a friend or a helper. “
And again :
The Koran, Al-Maidah 51: “O you who believe ! Do not take the Jews and Christians for allies; They are allies of one another. And the one among you who takes them for allies becomes one of them. Allah certainly does not guide unrighteous people. “
The Qur’an encourages the Islamic people to reject dialogue and refuse to falter in front of other peoples, which is a proud attitude:
The Koran, Muhammad 35: “So do not falter and call for peace when you are the highest, and Allah is with you, and He will never deprive you of the merit of your works. “
What works! ? Murder! Hate! And the Lie !
The Koran, Al-Fath 28: “It is He who sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth [Islam] to make it triumph over all other religions. Allah suffices as a witness. “
There can be no ally for Muslims, without Muslims embracing Islam. This is very clear. And those who disobey this order are rebels to them. The Qur’an exists only for the purpose of triumphing by force over all other religions.
So this is the religion of Islam. !
The false prophet Muhammad in hell with those who follow Allah will join him in hell:
Linda’s testimony on the Muslims who follow Allah! go straight to hell.

Jesus vs Muhammad: 33 Striking Differences

By. James Bishop

By James Bishop| Many will be surprised at just how different Jesus and Muhammad really were as historical figures. Both have had a huge impact on the way many people choose to live their lives. Followers of Jesus espouse love and acceptance whereas Muhammad’s teaching is the reason behind why 70% (1) of the world’s refugees are Muslims attempting to flee Islamic theocracies.

1. Jesus was sinless. Muhammad was not.

Firstly, Jesus, according to the biblical record, was sinless (2 Cor 5:21) whilst Mohammad, according to the Koranic record, was sinful. In Mecca, Muhammad received a command about his sin:

“Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And ask forgiveness of thy sin and hymn the praise of thy Lord at fall of night and in the early hours.”(Surah 40:55)

According to the Koran Muhammad was a sinner.  Surah 48 also lends credence to the fact that Muhammad was a sinner:

“That Allah may forgive you your sins of the past and the future and complete His Favour on you, and guide you on the Straight Path…”

So, in other words Muhammad was very much like ordinary people as all humans are sinners. Yet Jesus, according to the Bible, is sinless, in fact in one episode he asks those accusing him, “Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! Can you prove me guilty of any sin?” (John 8:45-46)

Again, according to the book of 1 Peter we read that Jesus was sinless: “To this you [Christians] were called because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.” (2:21-22 )

And in John 3:5 we read, “But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.”

The Koran revealed that Muhammad was a sinner. The Bible reveals that Jesus was morally perfect and incapable of sin.

2. Jesus’ tomb was found empty. Muhammad is still in his.

It is a historical fact that Jesus’ tomb was found to be empty by some of his women followers, as the Austrian scholar Jacob Kremer explains, “By far most exegetes hold firmly to the reliability of the biblical statements concerning the empty tomb” (2). William Lane Craig, philosopher and biblical exegete, concludes, “Taken together these eight considerations furnish powerful evidence that the tomb of Jesus was actually found empty on Sunday morning by a small group of his women followers. As a plain historical fact this seems to be amply attested” (3).

A study published in the Journal for the Study of the Historical Jesus found that about 75% of New Testament Scholars believe that the empty tomb is a historical fact.  In other words, the vast majority of experts in this historical field believe the Jesus body left his tomb.

On top of this it was the earliest Christians (see the pre-Pauline creed of 1 Corinthians 15:1-11) that proclaimed Jesus’ resurrection, thus hinting at the empty tomb. Paul, whose letters we have, self admittedly persecuted the earliest Christian followers for proclaiming this message.

Yet Muhammad’s body is still in his grave.

3. Jesus’ death was planned, purposed, predicted. Muhammad died of illness.

When he was sick and dying in the arms of Aisha, Muhammad asked Allah for forgiveness and mercy for his soul before he died, “O Allah! Forgive me, and bestow Your Mercy on me, and let me meet the companions.” (Bukhari 724)

Yet Jesus, according to the God of Christianity, was to die for man’s atonement and for the sins of the world.  Jesus’ Earthy mission was self-described with authority, “I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32, Matthew 9:13, Mark 2:17).

At all times, unlike Muhammad, Jesus knew exactly what was expected of him, and that his death was the focal point of his purpose on earth. Jesus even knew where he was going after his death – back to heaven where he originally came from. We see as such in Luke 23:43 where Jesus spoke to the criminal crucified next to him answered, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.”

He also says he came to give his life a ransom for many (Mark 10:25), and that his blood is the blood of the New Convenant that was sacrificed for us (Mark 14:24).  He predicted his own death (Mark 8:31) which was also predicted in the Old Testament (Isaiah 53:5).

Jesus death was planned and saved humanity from the penalty of sin. Muhammad, however, died of sickness.

4. Jesus was compassionate on sinners. Muhammad was not.

In Surah 24:2 Mohammad says:

“The fornicatress and the fornicator, flog each of them with a hundred stripes. Let not pity withhold you in their case, in a punishment prescribed by Allah, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a party of the believers witness their punishment. [This punishment is for unmarried persons guilty of the above crime (illegal sex), but if married persons commit it (illegal sex), the punishment is to stone them to death, according to Allah’s law.”

Some verses from the Hadiths are also rather illuminating:

“Then the Prophet said, ‘Take him away and stone him to death.’” Jabir bin ‘Abdullah said: I was among the ones who participated in stoning him and we stoned him at the Musalla. When the stones troubled him, he fled, but we overtook him at Al-Harra [rocky place near Medina] and stoned him to death.” (Bukhari)

A further Hadith reports that a woman was buried up to her chest and stoned to death, “And when he had given command over her and she was put in a hole up to her breast, he ordered the people to stone her. Khalid b. al-Walid came forward with a stone which he threw at her head, and when the blood spurted on his face he cursed her.”(Muslim no. 4206)

Muhammad as portrayed within the Koran and within the Hadiths was a brutal man, yet we see a vast difference with Jesus. Firstly, Jesus explains why there are vices such as adultery. In the Sermon on the Mount, regarding the sins of adultery and lust, he says:

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matt. 5:27-28)

Jesus thus goes to the heart of the sin, he tells us why it is there, where it begins. Even further is this chasm between Muhammad and Jesus widened as Jesus interacted with prostitutes by letting them into his kingdom via their repentance. When provoked on the subject he replies, “I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.” (Matthew 21:31)

On another occasion a Pharisee invited Jesus for supper at his house, but then a “sinful woman” (a prostitute) come to Jesus and washes his feet with her tears, wiped them off with her hair, and poured oil on his feet. The Pharisee became indignant and said to himself that if Jesus really were a prophet, he would know who was touching him and not allow it because she was unclean. Yet Jesus pointed out to the Pharisee that he did not offer him the customs of hospitality (according to Jewish culture, such as washing feet) as the sinful woman had done. Then we read:

“Then Jesus said to her, ‘Your sins are forgiven.’ The other guests began to say among themselves, ‘Who is this who even forgives sins?’ Jesus said to the woman, ‘Your faith has saved you; go in peace’” (Luke 7:48-50).

What is clearly evident is that Jesus never ordered prostitutes and other sexual sinners to be hunted down, scourged, buried alive or stoned to death. Jesus and Mohammad clearly differ greatly in their approaches in dealing with the sinful.

5. Jesus was peaceful. Muhammad was violent.

Jesus sets a very high standard for his followers to emulate if they are to “take up [their] cross and follow” him (Matthew 16:24). When Jesus was interrogated by the authorities he says:

“My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.” (John 18:36)

Jesus is separating himself from those who intend to do violence to achieve their outcomes; he clearly differentiates himself and his followers from such things. In fact he told us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. This is further illustrated when one of his disciples, Peter, actually draws his sword to fight the Jews when they arrested Jesus in the garden the night before his crucifixion:

“Put your sword back into its place; for all those who take up the sword shall perish by the sword.” (Matthew 26:52, John 18:11)

After saying these words Jesus allowed himself to be taken captive, and the next day he was crucified.

Muhammad proves to be very different as  the Koran attests to he committed assassinations, as well as threatened to murder over ten people. These threats stemmed from the fact these people offended him in some way, some, for example, wrote satirical poems about him. In Surah 33:60-61 Muhammad says:

“If the hypocrites, the sick of heart, and those who spread lies in the city [Medina] do not desist, We shall arouse you [Prophet] against them, and then they will only be your neighbors in this city for a short while. They will be rejected wherever they are found, and then seized and killed.”

Even before these verses were penned Muhammad had already assassinated some people because of their insults and mockery towards him. There are many other verses which show us Muhammad’s murderous intentions – in another Hadith he wins a battle and slaughters 800 Jewish captives, after he captures Mecca he demanded that two female slaves be put to death along with their master because they had mocked him in a song (Ibn Ishaq/Hisham 819, Abu Dawud 2678).

There are other examples littered throughout the Koran, but these will suffice for now to show the stark dichotomy between Jesus and Muhammad in their approaches to violence, or lack thereof.

6. Jesus had authority over darkness, Muhammad didn’t.

Surah 113, a short passage, was revealed to Muhammad in Mecca says, “I seek refuge with the Lord of daybreak against the evil in what He has created, the evil in the night when darkness gathers, the evil in witches when they blow on knots, the evil in the envier when he envies.”

Abdul-Rahman, an Islamic commentator, says that the hadiths on Muhammad’s bewitchment, and influences from magic, are evident, “As far as the historical aspect is concerned, the incident of the Holy Prophet’s being affected by magic is absolutely confirmed” (4). Thus, according to the Hadith traditions Muhammad was negatively affected by magic.

On the hand Jesus exercised a great authority over powers of darkness, as well as took Satan head on. In Luke 4:33-35 we read on Jesus’ encounter with a demon:

“In the synagogue there was a man possessed by a demon, an evil spirit. He cried out at the top of his voice, “Ha! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God! “Be quiet!” Jesus said sternly. “Come out of him!” Then the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without injuring him.”

Here Jesus commands the demon to “come out of him!” This is the sort of authority Jesus exercised in his ministry on Earth. Such authority is seen many times in his ministry, especially in his 40 day fast in the wilderness where he is confronted by Satan:

“Go, Satan! For it is written, ‘YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND SERVE HIM ONLY.’” (Matthew 4:10)

We clearly see that whilst Muhammad was bewitched and feared Satan, Jesus on the other hand showed complete authority and the demons even obeyed his commands.

7. Jesus gave people a choice to follow him. Muhammad didn’t.

Jesus says “If anyone comes after [follows] me …” (Matthew 17:24). Jesus let people decide for themselves, if they refuse to follow him then so bet it. The word “if” implies freedom in choosing to either accept the way of Jesus or to reject it. Unlike Muhammad there was no army or power that tried to force people to believe. We see this further illustrated in John 6 where many disciples eventually chose to walk away from him:

“From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve. Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.” (John 6:66-69)

Jesus never threatened anyone with harm if they chose to leave him although he obviously felt rejected and pained. But never once did he force anyone against their will to believe or to follow him.

Alternatively Muhammad forcefully imposes his will, we read in Surah 9:5 that “Then, when the months made unlawful for fighting expire, kill the mushriks [polytheists] wherever you find them, and seize them, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they repent, establish Salat [prayer five times a day] and pay the Zakat dues [charity tax], then let them go their way.”

In this scene the pagans, if they converted, were to say their prayers five times a day like is the Muslim custom, as well as to pay a forced “charity” tax. Either that or they were to be killed for their non-belief. We also read in the Bukhari Hadith tradition:

“Allah’s Apostle said: “I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshiped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah’s Apostle, and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform that, then they save their lives and property from me except for Islamic laws and then their reckoning (accounts) will be done by Allah.”

In other words Muhammad is called to fight until people acknowledge that only Allah is the right God, and that Muhammad is his unique messenger. The people must also give the messenger, Muhammad, their money.

Whereas Jesus gave people the choice to follow him, Muhammad was ruthless and commanded death for those who refused to accept and follow his message, and even if the unbelievers did convert to Islam a hefty tax would be imposed on them.

8. Muhammad said that Allah does not love those who reject Islam (Koran 30:45, 3:32, 22:38), whereas Jesus said that God loves everyone whether they believed in him or not (John 3:16). The Christian God is all loving and is unconditional in his love, whereas Allah’s love is strictly conditional.

9. Jesus condemned stealing: “Thou shall not steal” (Matthew 19:18), whereas Muhammad permitted stealing from unbelievers: “The people felt hungry and captured some camels and sheep (as booty)” (Bukhari 44:668).

10. Muhammad permits lying (Sahih Muslim 6303, Bukhari 49:857) whilst Jesus does not: “Thou shalt not bear false witness” (Matthew 19:18).

11. Jesus never owned slavers, or traded people, whereas Muhammad did: “Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: Sell him to me” (Sahih Muslim 3901).

12. Whereas Jesus preached forgiveness (Matthew 18:21-22, 5:38), Muhammad did not. We saw above that he assassinated those who mocked or ridiculed him.

13. Muhammad taught revenge: “If then anyone transgresses the prohibition against you, Transgress ye likewise against him” (Koran 2:194), whereas Jesus did not: “If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also” (Matthew 5:39).

14. Their personal and private relationships differed greatly. As far as we know Jesus was celibate, whereas Muhammad Married 13 wives and kept sex slaves (Bukhari 5:268, Koran 33:50).

15. Muhammad had sex with a nine year old (Bukhari 5:268, Koran 33:50) whereas Jesus never had sexual intercourse with minors.

16. The peace factor of their teachings were staunchly antithetical, according to Muhammad jihad in the way of Allah elevates one’s position in Paradise by a hundredfold (Muslim 4645), whereas Jesus said that “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called Sons of God” (Matthew 5:9).

17. Their approaches to women was different. Jesus forgave prostitutes, and even had women followers. However, Muhammad murdered women (Ibn Ishaq 819, 995).

18. Jesus never commanded or ordered combat campaigns or war on unbelievers, whereas Muhammad order at least 65 such campaigns in the final ten years of his life (Ibn Ishaq).

19. Muhammad killed many captives in battle: “Then a man drew his sword and cut off his son’s foot so that he fell down and Umayya [the boy’s father] let out a cry such as I have never heard… They hewed them to pieces with their swords until they were dead ” (Ibn Ishaq 451, Ishaq/Hisham 449), whereas Jesus never captured or killed anyone.

20. Jesus never enslaved women or raped them, whereas Muhammad did (Abu Dawood 2150, Koran 4:24).

21. Muhammad was never tortured, but did torture others (Muslim 4131, Ibn Ishaq 436, 595, 734, 764), whereas Jesus never tortured anyone, but was tortured himself.

22) Jesus instructs us to love and pray for them (Matthew 5:44), whereas Muhammad did not: “And fight them until there is no more persecution and religions is only for Allah” (Koran 8:39)

23. Muhammad celebrated and blessed the murder of a half-blind man (al-Tabari 1440), whereas Jesus healed a blind man (Mark 8:28).

24. Muhammad and Jesus had different views on what was the greatest commandment. According to Jesus the greatest commandments was to “Love God and love thy neighbor as thyself” (Matthew 22:34-40), whereas Muhammad believed that it was “Belief in Allah and Jihad (holy war) in His cause” (Muslim 1:149).

25. Muhammad demanded the protection of armed bodyguards, even in a house of worship (Koran 4:102), whereas Jesus did not (John 18:10-12).

26. While Jesus gave his life for others (John 18:11), Muhammad had others give their lives to him (Sahih Muslim 4413).

27. Although we have already seen many of Muhammad’s murderous tendencies we also see that he consented to the crucifying of others (Koran 5:33, Muslim 16:4131), where Jesus was himself crucified to save mankind from its sinful nature.

28. While Jesus’ followers were persecuted and never used force, Muhammad’s followers, and many to this day, forcefully persecute and execute those who do not believe.

29. According to Muhammad: “He who fights that Allah’s word should be superior fights in Allah’s cause” (Bukhari 53:355), whilst Jesus instructs his followers to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Matthew 15:16).

30. While Jesus’ followers gave their possessions to those in need (Acts 2:44-45), Muhammad’s followers stole, and lived off the wealth of others. Many times Muhammad in his war against Mecca he hijacked caravans that transported goods in the desert.

31. While Muhammad emphasized his kingdom on Earth: “And Allah has made you heirs to their land and their dwellings and their property” (Koran 33:27), Jesus declared that his kingdom is not of the world, “Mine is not a kingdom of this world” (John 18:36, Luke 14:33)

32. Jesus’ followers shared their faith proudly yet with gentleness and kindness (1 Peter 3:15), whereas Muhammad’s followers were instructed to kill, convert or subjugate Christians and Jews (Koran 9:29). Both teachings respectively stem from Jesus and Muhammad themselves.

33. Whereas Jesus’ legacy was that of mercy, forgiveness, love and righteousness, Muhammad’s was not. The Islamic texts instruct men to beat their disobedient wives (Koran 4:34, Sahih Muslim 2127), whilst the Christian texts instruct men: “Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them” (Colossians 3:19).

Conclusion.

It shouldn’t be too difficult to note the differences between the historical Muhammad and the historical Jesus. Quite remarkably Wafa Sultan, who labels herself as a Muslim but does not adhere to Islam, says that”

“The problem with Christians is they aren’t as good as Jesus. But thank God most Muslims are better than Muhammad” (5).
