Umm, umm, umm. They don’t care about the truth or the rules, they care about asserting themselves. Their superiors have obviously told them to strong-arm the public and force them into complying with all sorts of illegal orders.
The right to NOT have to show your exemption to the police is the loophole that I’ve been trying to tell everyone about. It’s the same rules here in the U.S.. You might get a mouthy cop that tries to tell you otherwise, but they are mistaken and are lying sacks of shit that likely know this rule already and have gotten used to lie-lie-lying in order to enforce ILLEGAL bullshit.
Oh, and another pertinent factoid I think you will find to be useful and insightful is that here in the states, the Police just got stripped of their “qualified immunity”.

In short, you can now sue their asses for all sorts of rights-encroaching acts that they used to get away with in the past by citing this bullshit provision. Now they better think twice before trying to pull any shit like what you see here. I don’t care what their Sargeant tells them to do. They are obligated to follow the law and now there is significant recourse available to citizens that have had their rights trampled on by oath-breaking pigs that wasn’t available until now.
