Thanks for tolerating yesterday’s issues with the domain name and my hosting provider. I had renewed the domain name and my hosting plan last week but they simply never fully processed it. I imagine it was a bit unnerving for some of you to see that message, temporarily assuming that my site had been taken down yet again. I think we are safe from censorship with these guys. We made it a full year without any issues on that front. I chose Hostpoco because I had read that they were known to be a very accommodating “Offshore” provider like many of the hosting providers in Central America are known to be. Iceland and the Netherlands are also known to be very “free speech friendly”. At least more than WordPress.com ever was. Definitely don’t get your hosting through WordPress themselves.
I can’t say the same for Twitter though as far as their continued tolerance of me. I’ve been suspended again and likely on thin ice over the following post. Over the target with the “Hydra” stuff are we?
