Very strange site in Egypt that wasn’t discovered until the early 1800’s and has been hastily labeled as a Roman quarry. The site is very anomalous. It could have also been a huge collapsed building of some kind that’s been thoroughly calcified-over and then perhaps rebuilt a few times over after the initial cataclysmic event that ruined the original structure. Very hard site to make sense of in my opinion. Some of those columns were absolutely gigantic.
